A few career facts
I have spent close to ten years working for the Department of Conservation in the education and interpretation area, and twelve years as a primary school teacher.
I have been contracted by local and central government agencies for interpretation, the development of education frameworks, resources and content, website content development, event co-ordination and formal application processes.
As well as strong writing skills I am an excellent facilitator and have the ability to develop strong and effective relationships with clients and project partners.
Freelance journalism has been a sideline since 2011, my writing ‘voice’ and photographic skills appealing to outdoors magazines in particular. I am a regular contributor to the Motorhomes, Caravans and Destinations magazine.
